Please note that I prefer to take payment up front as life can get busy with a newborn! However, I am happy to accept cash, cheque, or a number of postdated cheques.
If payment is a barrier to obtaining doula services, please let me know, and we can discuss a sliding scale.
Prenatal/Birth Support:
Prenatal support may include answering general pregnancy and baby related questions, providing resource referrals, exploring options for birth planning and/or help developing birth wishes, discussion of baby care options.
Birth support may include physical and emotional comfort measures, pain management suggestions and assistance, answering questions, preparation of food and drinks.
1) Prenatal, Birth Support & Immediate Postpartum $400:
• Unlimited phone and email support.
• Two prenatal visits (1-2 hours each).
• Continual attendance throughout labour and birth, plus a "next day" follow-up.
• Two postpartum visits (2-3 hours each). Postpartum visits generally occur at 3 days postpartum, and then at a second, to be determined time.
• Additional postpartum support can be purchased as a package or by the hour (2 hour minimum).
• Unlimited phone and email support.• Two prenatal visits (1-2 hours each).• Continual attendance throughout labour and birth, plus a "next day" follow-up.• Two postpartum visits (2-3 hours each). • Unlimited phone and email support.
• Two prenatal visits (1-2 hours each).
• Attendance throughout labour and birth.
• Postpartum visits (2-3 hours each), occurring at 4 days postpartum, then weekly until baby is 2 months old (total of 10 visits).

Postpartum support may include helping mom & dad with baby care, breastfeeding support and assistance, preparing snacks or drinks for Mom while she’s feeding the baby, providing baby care for Mom while at doctor/midwife appointments, older sibling care (reading stories, doing naptimes or bedtimes, etc), helping the new parents have some time to nap or spend time as a couple or with older children by caring for the new baby for limited periods of time, light household maintenance.

• Unlimited phone and email support.
• One prenatal visit, if possible, to meet and discuss plans and expectations.
• Two postpartum visits (2-3 hours each), generally occurring at 3 days postpartum and at a second, to be determined, time.
